*Terms & Conditions of Hire in relation to 2L Productions (2L DJs)
2L Productions (2L DJs) Hire Agreement:
Cause 1 – Deposit and Cancellation
2L Productions requires you to pay a deposit of exactly half the overall DJ Hire sum on the day of contract signing. However, there maybe some cases in which the hirer is required to pay the full overall DJ Hire sum on the day of contract signing. This payment must be paid in the form of cash (English sterling).
If the hirer decides to cancel the hire of 2L Productions after 2 weeks of signing the contract, the deposit monies therefore belongs to 2L Productions and shall not be returned to the hirer. However, if the cancellation is any time before 2 weeks from contract signing then the money shall be returned in full, or if the cancellation is within 7 days prior to the contracted event date then the hirer will pay the full balance to 2L Productions. Any resistance to this payment shall be settled via legal actions.
Clause 2 – Second Payment
The second half of overall payment shall be presented to DJ Bally Tak (a.k.a. Baldeep Singh Tak), on the day of event, but before the cutting of any cake or before the start of the main musical performance. If the monies are not received on time, when asked for by a member of 2L Productions, then 2L Productions has the ability and right to pack up all equipment and leave the venue of event, without any hassles from anyone attending the event, including the hirer themselves.
If the final payment has not been paid by the hirer to 2L Productions on the day of event, then an additional charge of £50 per day (from the day of event, to the day of the final payment) will be paid by the hirer, to 2L Productions on the day of the final payment.
Clause 3 – Abuse towards 2L Productions
2L Productions has the ability to pack up all equipment and belongings and leave the venue of event if any trouble is to arouse which seems therefore unacceptable for performing conditions by DJ Bally Tak, or any fellow 2L Productions staff members. If any resistance or arguments or physical violence is displayed to 2L Productions members or equipment, then 2L Productions has the ability to carry out legal actions or otherwise contact the police and our security staff to attend the event to collect equipments. 2L Productions also reserves the right not to perform under such circumstances at no financial loss to itself. Hence the hirer agrees to pay the full contracted booking charge. Any resistance to this payment shall be settled via legal actions.
Clause 4 – Accidental Damage 1
If any accidents occur during the event or if for any reason 2L Productions cannot perform, therefore 2L Productions has the right to leave the event and shall not be held responsible and no legal actions against 2L Productions shall be carried out.
Clause 5 – Accidental Damage 2
If throughout the event any equipment belonging to 2L Productions (DJ Bally Tak – a.k.a. Baldeep Singh Tak) is damaged or stolen, then the hirer who has signed the contract of event shall pay the full payment asked by 2L Productions which shall be needed to either replace or repair the equipment in question. If this payment in not received within 14 days of receiving the bill for the damaged equipments, then 2L Productions is entitled to carry out legal actions in which the hirer shall receive an additional £1000 fine in addition to the payment required to replace or repair the damaged equipments in question.
Clause 6 – Over Time
If throughout the event the DJ Hire exceeds the booked finishing time of the event, then there shall be a sub charge of £50 per half hour, and the overall extra charge must be paid to 2L Productions in full on the during the event. If this extra charge on monies is not received then 2L Productions is entitled to legal actions, and reserve the right to pack up all equipments and leave the event without any abuse or hassle from the hirer or his/her guests.
Clause 7 – Breach of Contract
2L Productions has the ability to terminate any agreements and the booking at any time, if the hirer breaches any of the Terms & Conditions from 2L Productions Hire Agreement. If the contract termination is during the event, the hirer is still required to pay the full overall charge stated in the 2L Productions Booking Form contract.
Clause 8 – Access
Safe and easily accessible loading areas must be made available for 2L Productions and its equipment and personnel. If 2L Productions is required to move equipment up stairways, the hirer must pay 2L Productions an additional £50 per floor level, from the ground floor level.
Clause 9 – Omission, Neglect, injury…
The hirer is solely responsible for any costs arising from any act, omission, neglect, injury, damage or loss caused by him/herself or any of his/her family, guests, attendees or service-providers to 2L Productions or any person, persons or equipment their-of.
Clause 10 - Postage
2L Productions does not accept proof of postage of any agreement, instruction or amendment as proof of delivery. This application is acceptable only if fully completed and returned with the required payment to 2L Productions within fourteen days of the 'Date of Issue'. 2L Productions reserves the right to reject any application without obligation or requirement to give any reason or justification.
Clause 11 – Changes to Contract Agreements
2L Productions reserves the right to change or vary the Terms & Conditions of this agreement at any time as a result of any new legislation, statutory instrument, government or in-house regulations or licences and to make amendments to the standard Terms & Conditions of the said agreement.
Clause 12 – External Performances
During the performance the stage or performance area shall be occupied and controlled by 2L Productions and its related road-crew. The hirer must notify 2L Productions in writing of any other musical act, acts or dance groups performing on the same day. 2L Productions will charge the hirer for the use of its equipment by the other act or acts. In this eventuality a £50 surcharge will be paid by the hirer, for each acts or groups.
Clause 13 – Stage Area
A safe stage or performance area of no less than 5 metres from left to right and 2.5 metres from front to back is required for 2L Productions. A minimum of two double power points on a 30-amp mains ring are required on stage for use by 2L Productions only.
Clause 14 – Changing Facilities
Clean and private changing facilities must be available for 2L Productions. A break for refreshment lasting for approximately fifteen minutes will be taken by 2L Productions at a convenient time during the performance. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that food and soft-drinks/drinking water is supplied to the road-crew.
Clause 15 – Licensed Venue
The venue must be suitably licensed for such performances, and is solely the hirer’s responsibility.
Clause 16 – Performance time
The hire of 2L Productions means that 2L Productions must be in the building of the event by the hirers requested time, however 60 minutes must be given to 2L Productions to set up any equipments from the initial booked time allocated by the hirer in the 2L Productions Booking Form.
Clause 17 – Health and Safety
The hirer is responsible for ensuring that 2L Productions have full and appropriate access to the venue and performance area at least two hours prior to and after the agreed start and finishing times respectively. The hirer is further responsible for ensuring restrictions arising from Fire and Health & Safety regulations in force at the particular venue are communicated to 2L Productions for the purposes of the detonation of theatrical pyrotechnics.
Clause 18 - Postage
If the name and full postal address details for a venue on the application are incorrect or omitted, and when subsequently the correct details are communicated to 2L Productions the venue is deemed to be unsuitable for the purposes of 2L Productions, the booking will be immediately cancelled and the hirer will be notified in writing or via oral communication about the cancellation.
Clause 19 - Pyrotechnics
If the hirer orders any pyrotechnics, then it is the hirer’s responsibility to notify the venue owner of such pyrotechnics being used on event. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check to see if it is safe to use the pyrotechnics and if the event owner allows such effects. 2L Productions in not responsible for any accidents or problems cause by pyrotechnics and the hirer agrees full responsibility of the use of pyrotechnics. 2L Productions are not be responsible for contacting the owner of the venue, to find out whether the ordered pyrotechnics are suitable for that venue, this responsibility is that of the hirers and the hirers only.
Clause 20 – Additional Tips Earned
On stage tips belong to 2L Productions in addition to the overall stage show price. However, the hirer can purchase the tips made on the evening for a charge of £100 in addition to the overall stage show price, on the day of contract signing, before the event itself.
Note: 2L Productions shall not be blamed, if the tips made on the day of event are less then what the hirer paid to receive them. If the hirer is to lose out on this method, the hirer must still pay the full price agreed for the event, including any extra surcharges, which have come about due to the breaking of any of clauses.
